My inspiration for this image comes from a video game that I have been playing a good amount recently. The video game is called Red Dead Redemption 2. It takes place in the late 19th century. Occasionally the player will stumble upon a photo of somebody taken with a camera from that time period. The individual in the photo is not smiling and is usually looking away from the camera. Due to the time period of the photo, the image is very grainy. I tried capturing that same serious and grainy look. I placed the camera at an angle behind me and set the timer to 10 seconds. This allowed me to position myself just right. I used a shutter speed of 1"3 and an aperture of f14 to capture the right light and keep the Grandfather clock in focus. Adding the Grandfather clock to my image reinforced the old and grainy theme. To finish the image off, I add just a hint of "Zeke" filter. The filter really added that last bit of graininess and old time feel I was looking for.
